Summary
 
Morning sessions:
Exciting cross curricular themes and activities for teaching the usual in an unusual way will be demonstrated.  These sessions will also show how to get pupils to think for themselves and to reach higher curriculum levels in preparation for the challenges of the GCSE.
 
Afternoon sessions:
Inspirational ideas for making the controlled assessments more interesting and accessible to GCSE pupils.  These sessions will demonstrate a series of proven techniques for enhancing learner confidence, independence, preparation and performance using an array of exciting topic areas that motivate pupils and allow for individuality in the controlled assessments. 
 
The sessions will link closely to the demands of the new Ofsted framework, the Key Stage 3 curriculum and speaking and writing criteria across all awarding bodies.
 

Programme
This course will run from 9.45 - 3.30

Trainer
The course will be delivered by Juliet Park. Juliet is Director MFL at Yewlands school in Sheffield and is a regular speaker, trainer and consultant. She is an author of creative and inspiring resources for motivating students and raising attainment, is working with OCR and AQA to redesign the GCSE and is a nationally renowned specialist for the NVQ pathway.

Cost

£125 per delegate, including lunch and resources.
